Diversity and Empowerment

The 2-part training was organized in cooperation with the Association of Russian-Speaking Youth in Germany (VRJD) JunOst e.V. and was aimed at teenagers and young adults as multipliers in open youth education. The training aimed to enhance participants' competence and skills in social diversity and contribute to their experience with empowerment pedagogy. The 3-day modules included introduction to antisemitism and racism prevention. The seminars were experience- and practice-based. Biographical reflections, practical exercises and case-studies provided an opportunity to explore, analyse and reflect upon personal questions. The modules took place in Berlin from 03.06.2016 to 05.06.2016 and from 07.10.2016 to 09.10.2016, respectively.
