The Second Autumn Academy

Continuation of the seminar series

The second autumn academy took place from 9th to 10th November in Berlin as a continuation of a 2015 series of seminars with the topic "Divided stories – one experience: antisemitism as a personal experience and as a social phenomenon". The academy was made possible in cooperation with the Research and Information Agency on Antisemitism (RIAS) and ezra Mobile Counselling for Victims of extreme right, racist and antisemitic violence (Thuringia).

The goal of the programme was to address the experience of antisemitism in everyday life and to encourage a multilateral exchange of strategies for countering and dealing with antisemitism. Not only did the Autumn Academy provide safe space for mutual empowerment; it also introduced the existing highly qualified and experienced counselling centres.
